Title: [Nine Worlds] Talismans and Points
Post by: boredoom on September 09, 2006, 08:36:12 PM
I just played in Iskander's game. Good time. I accumulated 14 Pride, which kind of scream to be put toward a talisman. But how do Talismans work in conflicts: do they accumulate and capture Points, and if so, how can those Points be spent? Obviously, Talismans can't have Muses, so can the Points increase the owner's Muses?

Hi -- hope you guys had a great time playing the game.

Talismans can capture points, but they are yours. Yes, you can increase your Muses with their points.

As you've probably figured out, the other option is to use the Talisman's points according to the Urge the Talisman employed during the phase. So, if you had your Talisman use Chaos in the conflict, you could use any points earned (or even captured, possibly) to reduce the scores of your opponents via Chaos.

Hope that answers everything for you. If not please keep the questions coming!

Thanks for the clarification, Matt... I had suspected that corollary, which is why several of the more, shall we say, protean antagonists I've prepared have some static talismans up their sleeves.

I certainly had a good time, and I'll be posting AP within a week or so!
