Thinking about female PC concepts, I came up with something besides the typical 'Amazon' or 'Warrior Princess', and it's actually historically accurate! (Not that that's important.) I built a Heroic Trait for it using iago's Heroic Trait construction rules:
Cretan Bull Dancer
+2 to Athletics rolls
+2 to positioning when fighting Beasts
The frescoes and mosaics at Knossos show acrobatic teenage girls bullfighting by grabbing the horns of the charging bulls, and vaulting onto or over their backs. Repeat until the bull is exhausted and stops charging you...
According to what I've read, the move works because of a habit of bulls: When it's horns are grabbed, the bull tosses his head violently. The bull dancer uses the extra energy from the head-toss to vault with, like launching off of a springboard... Is this where the phrase 'grabbing the bull by the horns' comes from?
