Title: The new server: banned words
Post by: lumpley on May 14, 2007, 03:38:39 PM
The Forge's new server, by default, disallows posts containing certain spam-common words. I don't know the exact list of words; all I know is that I just had a post bumped for h a r d c o r e, which I meant in its strictly platonic sense.

If you get an error that says something about a precondition evaluating to false, that's why.

I'm working with the hosting company to lift the restriction, as we speak. I can't imagine it'll be a problem for longer than a day or two, but I'll let you know.

Meanwhile, it'd be best to paste your posts into Notepad or something before you submit them, so you don't lose them outright, just to be sure.

This is a test. It is, in fact, a hardcore test.

It looks like it's fixed. Hardcore at will.
