Title: MLWM-inspired comic
Post by: broundy on July 13, 2007, 01:22:19 AM
Hi Paul!

After reading about "My Life with Master" last year, and lurking on these forums for a while, my brain caught fire with lots of cool ideas. I started thinking about minions and masters and their weird, dysfunctional relationships, and wound up drawing an 8-page comic about it.

It's called "Yes, Master," and I've posted it on my website: http://www.billroundy.com/master.html (http://www.billroundy.com/master.html).

Anyway, I'm sorry if this seems like I'm just pimping my comic. Really, I just wanted to let you know about it, and to say thanks for inspiring me.

Thanks!

Bill

"It may have been too successful"

That was hilarious :) Well done.

It's fantastic Bill. Thanks for posting it.

Paul

p.s. I'm a huge fan of indie comics. I'd love to see increasing influence and collaboration between the indie comics and indie rpg communities.

Nice.

You might also like Che Gilson's Avigon, which I think has a couple of TPBs out now. It's about... well, here, http://www.icomics.com/rev_110800_avigon.shtml (http://www.icomics.com/rev_110800_avigon.shtml). It's good stuff, and very much in the MLWM vein, including clockwork minions, a Master with a god complex, unpleasant errands, and an overture to a local college student.

Since it has the same topic, I wanted to show that here's another, silent comic that seems to go well with MLWM:
