Can I just say...
... that guy on the cover is screwed :-)
Even the 2 wolves would probably be enough to take him down. Add a Hef (presumably), and it's adios muchacos.
Nice! I like it that you need to take a second look to notice that the men is fighting for the life of his wounded friend...

Yup, it's time to consider the following:
Drive - to defeat the clan chiefly fairly; the clan chief is the wounded guy
Passion - the clan chief's sister (who's watching this very fight; her POV is the reader's)
Faith - in the religion that declares the Hef to be the cursed of God
Conscience
Passion - hatred of this particular Hef, who killed the guy's brother
I'd put that at 25 dice increasing the guy's Combat Pool. And Endurance rolls. And terrain rolls.
Best,
Ron

:-D
Very nice, and an interesting backstory, too. I actually hope that the cover art is mentioned in the book, with that much of a story..
Also, I hope that the image will eventually end up in the neat border style that the other TRoS books have?
I thought Hef's were bigger then that?

from no where special

Way ahead of you mate.
Brian.

So it's a young Hef?
I noticed that too, but I didn't much mind. However, it does bring up an interesting point.. What differences might there be for younger critters/people in stats and abilities? A young Hef, or a human child, for example. Do we just extrapolate down for the Hef, or just assume that anyone can mow down a child?
(Not that I'd ever do anything like the latter, but I've seen some players... eh, Brian?)
Actually, Hef range from 8 to 9 feet. If that guy extends his legs and un-hunches, he'll hit more than that.

Is there a section in the book talking about Hef Magic ????
And is there a three legged Hef ???
Samus75
a whole year to be born....

Hef aren't really clued up enough to use magic. They're not completely ignorant beasts, but sorcerers they're not.

Err... no, should there be?
Brian.
Hey look, a three-headed monkey!
I'm sorry, but I just HAD to say it, what with someone talking about a 3-legged hef and all.
