Title: Pollies: Status Update
Post by: ethan_greer on October 13, 2002, 10:48:06 PM
Hey all,
Pollies received its first real playtest this afternoon, and things went extremely well.  Surprisingly so, actually.  I'm excited about getting the latest draft of the rules up on my website for public consumption.

That will be happening sometime this week, and I'll post to this thread when it is up.  Woohoo!

Addendum to update:

Enthusiasm aside, I'll not be able to have Pollies online this week after all.  Reason being, I'm making some more changes that I want to playtest before inflicting Pollies on the world at large.  The game seems to be warping and morphing before my very eyes.  In the end, I think it'll have a SHERPA/Risus vibe in the char-gen department for maximum flexibility, all under the umbrella of the dice mechanic presented in this thread (http://www.indie-rpgs.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=3748).

Stay tuned...

Hi Ethan,

Well, I'm interested. Keep trucking, and when it's ready for unveiling, let us know.

Best,
