A quick announcement:
As of today, I am also running my own mailing-list for CAH discussions for German-speaking fans.
This is not a list with translations of posts made to the existing English-language mailing lists, of course. This is a separate forum I organized for future players, and potential players in my country.
Any German fans reading this, please come over and have a look!

I would be extremely curious, howveer, to see if anyone ever does a Japanese-langaugae list. That would be beyond ironic.

Not only did I find a great German guy who joined my list after receiving a hint from Eddy (which brings my total membership up to *2*, for the moment!), but also this guy, who is currently working in Cambridge, England, is a translator by profession and would be greatly interested in contributing to a German-language edition of CAH, _and_ he is originally from my geographical area, went to the same game stores, the same clubs, knows the conventioneers and likes some of the same music as me. That is what I call luck.
Oh, and he and I are also both long-time fans of the show, Captain Future from 1978 (a legendary cartoon based on Edmond Hamilton's novels). "Cap F." is not widely known in the US, but it aired successfully in France as "Capitaine Flam" and several times in Germany, where it introduced my generation to animé series -- a bit like Star Blazers and Battle of the Planets did the same for American kids in the late 1970s.

It looks very much as if Ozzy, myself, and a few other friends are going to meet at the NURD Convention in Nuremberg, Germany, on Saturday, July 12th. It's very close to where I live.
