Here's a peek at the mechanics for Ars Mechanica. Trying to emphasize fun and action (for the players) during combat. One of the problems I've had with this game is with the mechanics. Then I remembered that these are ROBOTS. So I decided that the system had to incorporate some kind of energy expenditure/storage thingie.

    Nice work on the rules thus far... the charge thing is a nice way to add some mechanism to the mechanics (if that makes any sense at all.) Are you planning to sell this one?

No idea. I'd like to, of course.
