Is that true?! Modified CTN's are the aging TN's? If so that does make a big difference. I thought I read somewhere it didn't work that way...hoping I am mis-remembering!

Added edit:
I'm starting to remember that I read it here in the forum somewhere, not in the book, and just assumed the person knew what they were talking about. Does someone know for sure that reducing CTN's via gestures and vocalizations affects aging TN's? How about casting times? Do symbol drawings do similar things to aging TN's and casting times?

It only makes sense, to me, that the aging TN is the same as the actual CTN used when casting.. However, one could rule that the amount aged is equal to the unmodified CTN - successes. That would put some of the bite back, but to be honest, I don't know that it needs it.
