Riddle of Steel Character Generator Question

I was inputting my new TROS character into the generator -- I'm a first time player and loving the game -- and when I was selecting equipment I saw an entry for a fine bastard sword and other fine weapons.  Well, my character can easily afford a fine bastard sword but I couldn't find the rules on it.

My GM, who is also new to the game, has no idea what "fine" means when applied to weapons and neither of us could find it in the index.

So, what does fine do to weapons and/or where do I find it described?

In the equipment section of chapter 7. It's page 203 in my book, but that's a first editing printing, so in 2nd edition it may be a couple of pages before or after that.

I'm surprised someone with the publisher would use 1st printing rules, but then again, who would know the rules better anyway :)

Ah!  There it is.  Thank you very much!

Actually, the pagination is identical in the first and second printings *except* the arrangement of Book Six. Everything else is right where we left it.

Thanks, Jake.  That makes me feel a lot better about buying the game (still saving up!  So many hobbies...)

Actually, I have a couple of copies of each edition, but my 1st edition copy was the first one that came to hand.
