Lunch at Dexcon?

It was mentioned over in the Ropecon thread that a number of Forge people are going to be at Dexcon. I was hoping to be able to manage it, but complications in life have made it impossible to do the week.

However, I said I could probably drive up for one day, and I would love to have an afternoon lunch with some of you. I'll name Vincent and Luke, because I've met you both, but I don't mean to be exclusive.

The point of this thread is to help me arrange which day to come up. I wouldn't want to come up and not be able to have lunch with anyone; I'll probably try to schedule a Multiverser demo for that evening (as long as I'm there) if it's possible; and I'll want to make the arrangements in advance.

So who is going to be there, and what days are good for an afternoon lunch?

DEXCON 7's complete event schedule is now posted, for those who want to have a look while organizing their time at the convention.

We're pretty pleased with it.  :-)

Hi MJ,

Unfortunately, I won't  be able to attend Dexcon this summer. It falls smack dab between GenCon and Origins, and I simply have too much work to do -- Monster Burner, NPA, Burning Wheel Revisions, etc.

Have fun without me.

Where's DexCon?  My razzin-frazzin workplace netnanny won't let me click through to their site.

It's at the East Brunswick Hilton, East Brunswick, NJ.  Just off the Turnpike.

I'll be there, running things for Attack Vector; I'm not at all certain I'll be able to take lunch off without being lynched by part of the rest of the crew, but you're welcome to come by and chat.  (Or is the point that you're appearing without getting into the Con?)

I'm sure I can find someone to help mind your table, if you want to go have lunch.  We do want you to have a good time there, after all.

Also, if any game reps can't attend, but want to stop in and have a look around to see how we have things set up, that's really not a problem.  Just let me know beforehand, if you can.  Or, just get there and have someone at registration page me.  None of the demo tables are somewhere you need a badge (unless someone specifically asks to be put in the dealers room), since there isn't a separate exhibitors hall.

The issue isn't somebody to watch the table (I expect to have three of us there), but simply the potential for the other two taking it ill if I ducked off elsewhere for a relaxing lunch.  :)

Sang and I would like to meet any and all Forgers! Our least-busy days will be Saturday and Sunday; since the Masters and Minions tournament ends on Saturday, there's some chance we'll head home (exhausted) Saturday night.

Myself and a couple of the members of the Gotham Gamers Guild Demo team will be there running Indie Games such as Burning Wheel, Bad Muthas, Kill Puppies for Satan, Tools of Magick and others. As well as doing Demos for Eden Studios, Deep 7, and R. Talsorian Games.
Come by the G3DT fan table and chat. Also I see that there is a listing for a Indie panel on sunday. Since I was listed as running it any Indie designers who want to speak out, come see me either friday or saturday.
