Hi,

Hope this is in the right place but I need some information about the priesthood of Makastos or any reference to it.

I am playing AD&D but my GM uses a lot of other sources to generate characters from and my fighter priest worships Makastos but searching for this on Google only gives 3 hits and I would like a little more background info to get into character.

I know Makastos is a Rune Quest deity but I dont have any books and was wondering if this has 'crossed over' before and if anyone has heard of it?

Anything is a help!

Many thanks,

LA

Hello.

Makastos does appear to be a highly obscure Gloranthan figure of some kind.

Much of Gloranthan material is out of print, and has never been in electronic format.  I don't think you are going to find much more online.

You could conceivably try the Hero Wars site at www.glorantha.com, and if anyone would know it is they.

However, it seems to me that your GM probably chose something this obscure on purpose.  Your GM should also be providing you with all the data you need about the world to play.

cheers

Are you perhaps talking about Mastakos, God of Motion? However, your best way to find information is probably to just ask your GM, right. Especially if you don't actually play in Glorantha, which means that whatever Gloranthan material he is using just serves as inspiration anyway.

It is Mastakos rather than Makastos - DM spelling to keep me off guard as he knows that I search the net for info before a session.

Thanks, Have managed to find a little more info before we start.
