Some of my Boston friends are talking about running a superhero game using a variant of Dogs/Afraid as the basic system (what can I say, we/they love Dogs). I just wanted to point out the gorgeous character sheets one of them cooked up for it: go here to see 'em.

If you're familiar with Dogs, you should be able to grok what everything on the sheet represents.

Just by looking at that makes you wanna play it. Are the rules for it available from somewhere (I mean, is the "hack" detailed on some website)?

My cohort in crime is still working on the rules mods, so I really can't say when this will be ready to see the light of day. This idea has just really captured my attention so I barrelled forward on all cylinders.

Thanks!

Since it was asked for by a few people, I have made hi-res pdfs of the charcater sheets available here: http://www.lulu.com/21system

Sadly, due to work/life issues, development on the game has come to a halt. But I figure with a familiarity with Dogs in the Vineyard and Afraid, and Head58's rules noodlings, you could probably flesh it out and play it.

Now those are some pretty character sheets!

Wonderful work.

I'm definitely interested to hear how this goes, please do keep us posted.  We've talked about doing something similar just for experimentation's sake.
