Gencon08 IGE and GOD

This year due to much happiness in our family (Dalys will be going to college!!) Michael and I will not be at Gen Con 08.

As Organizer of the Games On Demand and the Indie Games Explosion at Gen Con I'm hoping someone else will step up to sponsor these things for Gen Con08.

What is required to do this?  I totally want GoD and IGE to be at GenCon this year and I'm very willing to put in some work to make it happen.  I just don't have the slightest clue what that work entails and/or if there is any monetary cost associated with organizing this thing.  Do you have notes from previous years doing this?  Basically, I would hope that whoever did this wouldn't have to start from ground zero again trying to figure out how to make it run.

having run the IGE at Gen Con for several years and GOD twice I can tell you
It has never cost me anything that I wasn't paying for anyway.

If your interested in taking it over this year I will give you as much aid and information I can.
a good deal of the work is just gathering volunteers and meeting deadlines.

Gen Con will cover the cost of your badge and that of many of the volenteers.
