Conquest on the History Channel

Tonight's Episode of Conquest on The History Channel (MON DEC 16th) was a great little primer on medieval weapons and armor.  With the narrator actually using the weapons and piercing armor, etc with them , so you can see some of those nifty little things that TROS talks about in the book....

Gotta love the little section on the flail, btw.

Of course, some of Conquest's measurements seem a bit... off.

I mean, fifteen pounds for a poleaxe?!??  Get real!
