Roland's Cavern, a website dedicated to an online chat-based role-playing group, has published an account of their Donjon game in their latest newsletter.

The entire session is written as a story sans mechanics, so you don't get a feel for how the system works in play, but you do see the results it produces, which can be high excitement and humor right after each other. A funny quote:

Quote
Suddenly a cry resounded: "You shall not pass!!" A large shape leapt out from under the bridge and swung up in the middle of it, blocking the party's way. It was a squat, stocky troll with a badass scowl and a gold tooth. "This is MY bridge!" said the burly troll. He motionned with his club, a plank with a nail in it, and added: "To cross it, you have to pay my toll." Both Joan and Zarah, who were leading the way, blinked at him, and Zarah asked: "What kind of toll?"

"Well, that's open to negotiation." The troll leaned on his weapon and picked his teeth. "I'm not an unreasonable bridge keeper. What can you pay?" Cidat stifled a laugh, and the troll stared at him with his evil eye. "Want some rice cakes?" the ninja offered. "They're quite tasty."
