Problem with TROS character generator

I apologise if this has been covered elsewhere, but:
the character generator appears to have a glitch whereby it gives 2 free points in each attribute that aren't counted towards the total. Am I missing something really basic here?

You're missing something basic :)
Those 2 points in each stat have already been subtracted from the stat point total - because each stat must have a base of 2 points allocated.
The total points gained in the generator are the same as in the rulebook.

On the character I was generating last night, the two points in each attribute hadn't been deducted from the running total - this meant that the character wasn't able to spend the 47 points (for an A priority) allotted, and the generator couldn't proceed to the next stage.

Perhaps I should download it again to make sure...

Oh, I haven't seen it do that. It does sound like a bug :)

I suggest that was probably an odd glitch and wont re-occur. I have never seen that happen, and have used the char gen once or twice :-)

It's fine now. I reloaded it, and it's working well.
Currently generating characters for a Picti cattle raid.
