Currently, there are 348 downloads of the Nine Worlds playtest. (get yours here: http://www.chimera.info/nineworlds/nineworlds_playtest.pdf )

Forty-five people downloaded the character sheet*.

That rocks. On toast.

So far, 6 people responded in any way to said playtest.

This sucks. On toast
Spooky Fanboy, Nine Wolrds' number one fan, was on the scene, of course, with excellent comments and questions.

My man Jason Blair dug it, and noted a big ol' typo goof. (the tie-breaker example doesn't have Hearts symbols, but has twice as many spades symbols as it should for Alexander's hand)

Ethan Greer shared some great critiques, as well as excellent editing points.

MathiasJack had an interesting suggestion about shuffling decks.

Kirt "Loki" Dankmyer (a.k.a. Xiombarg) said his group will likely playtest the game. Rock!

Antii Karjalainen created a friggin' character sheet* on his own intiative, and he's looking to playtest the game with his group. He also rocks. On toast.[/list:u]

The people listed above will get free copies of the final PDF-version of the game. The next 6 people to offer something useful up in way of critique/playtest will get the same.

Post feedback here or on the Chimera Creative forum, or email me: matt @ chimera.info

    * The character sheet is now also available in a letter sized version for us damn yankees, courtesy of Antii Karjalainen.

Spooky will also get his group to playtest it. Soon. Because I love it that much.

And a free pdf of the game only makes the love grow. ;-)
Proudly having no idea what he's doing since 1970!

    Greetings,

Thought I'd let everyone know that I am working on a review of the Nine Worlds playtest.  I shall submit it to RPGnet, but if anyone knows of other good review sites they'd like a review submitted to let me know.  Whether it will be accepted it or not is, of course, up to them.  Not to worry though as I also PDF all my reviews and upload them to my Yahoo Group (see link in sig) so check there in about a week or so.

Be aware the PDF reviews uploaded to the group are seldom identical to reviews posted elsewhere.  Also I don't usually include graphics, the PDFs are all formatted single column for ease of on-screen reading/printing, so should you want to print them out they shouldn't be too much of a ink burden.

    Kind Regards,

    Kester Pelagius

Matt, you misspelled Antti's name. It's two T's, not one.

Anyway, I too will post my thoughts on the game as soon as I find the chance to read it more thoroughly.
