Iron Chef Results Today or Later?

So...arent the results of the Iron Chef supposed to be posted sometime today? I'm not rushing them, or trying to give anyone a hard time when they just haven't put it up yet, but I'm interested in wether it really is today, as I think it says in the thread's first post, or if that was ammended somewhere else in the thread.

The results are due today.

I was just about to post my own post on this subject when I saw this thread, which is perfect in which to announce that I'm not going to finish on time. Just too many entries of too long a length. I had intentionally given myself more time that I thought that I'd need, but I really didn't expect the onslaught that I recieved.

I only have a few left, and could, if I crammed them in, make it in under the deadline. But I have a few committments still today, and instead of ignoring them, and rushing to get the last reviews done, I'm going to take a couple more days to ensure that everyone gets the review that they deserve.

I will say at this point that reviewing has been a delightfully difficult task. Thanks to all who posted, and thanks for your continued patience while I finish up.

This is really a huge job that our good Mr. Holmes is doing voluntarily and on his own. (Though blessings on Walt for his index)   If it sounds hard write one game in a week, think about having to analyze, review and write up 35 games in similar time.  

I can understand folks being itchy to know, but let's let him come out with it in his own time.

Come on, Cracker, Chairman Holmes is devoting a hell of a lot of his time and effort to this without getting any material reward for his effort. Cut him some slack, dude.

Mike, take all the time you want. Your hard work is appreciated.

I haven't been unreasonable at all...three days after the deadline I asked another question. I'v shown much restraint, and have been very calm and dignified about it. I empathize with the judging time thing as well, and I too think that since he's volunteering to do this he should take all the time he wants, however that doesn't mean I think that it's wrong of me to ask every once in a while.

No harm done.  The question's not unreasonable.  But we can show our respect by having patience.  

I suggest we talk amongst ourselves about the games if we wish, while we wait.

Didn't matter anyhow, I was going to take my time getting it right no matter how long it took.

And hopefully I have gotten it right, because the results are posted now! :-)
