I've been signing up to run Donjon at all the Northwest conventions this spring, and just got the schedule for GameStorm 2002 (which isn't even up on their site yet.)

Anyhow - I'm running Donjon, Extreme Vengeance is being run, and Julie Hoverson is running Little Fears. In addition, someone named Michael Hopcroft (where do I know that name from?) is running a seminar on "The Internet and RPGs" where he plans to have "a group discussion of how the Internet has affected gamers, game playing and game publishing, including a discussion of online gaming and online game publishing."

Rock, is what I say. GameStorm's in Portland, OR, and I know we have a few people here from Portland and Eugene, as well as other Northwesters. I'm willing to share a hotel room with anyone who wants to go (or a car ride, if you're coming from Seattle-way.)

The convention's March 8-10, and the site's at http://www.pdxgames.com/.

In addition, I put up the schedules and list of events at:

Hopcroft is part of http://www.seraphimguard.com/">Seraphim Guard. They have a few games in development. One is a FUDGE game. One is d20. And the other is a fuzzy cops game.

And if you're doing anything with your Acts of Evil ashcan license, of course I'm curious and would love to hear about your plans

Michael Hopcroft also has an intermittant web zine called Scribe, and he's written reviews for Games Unplugged.

I'm going to try to make it to GameStorm this year, but so far, over the past five years that I've intended to hit some of the local cons, I've managed to miss them all. I suck.
