As a longtime fan of HK action movies, and as a longtime GM of very freestyle HK action movie roleplaying, I find the idea of a HK action PTA series extremely intriguing. Has anyone here ever played something like this?

I used PTA for a show set in Exalted's Creation.  If you are unfamiliar with Exalted, it's a kitchen sink world, heavily influenced by Hong Kong action movies.  It worked pretty swell, although the game fell apart at the end due to scheduling reasons.  We had some pretty great action scenes, but the were framed in ways that made the characters' issues important.  I can't give any examples because it's been a long time since we did it, but everyone had a really good time.
