I'm cool with dinosaurs... so are we going more for something like Dinosaucers with dinos as the heroes or just something with dinosaurs like Land of the Lost?

So we've established that dinos are the baddies and that humans have had to resort to hiding out or being lunch (sounds a lot like Reign of Fire so far but we'll remove most of the technology or make it super rare to find anything that still works.

Now... is there one "super dinosaur" or queen that is super-intelligent that rules over all the others? Or is it more of a tribal thing with each dino species ruling a particular area?

Are the dinos still historical dinosaurs or have they mutated or evolved?

How did they go forward in time? Transported by aliens? DNA experiment in the past brought them back a la Jurassic Park? Super villain with a time machine?

Just some ideas to chew over. Once we can get a setting in place - we can start to hash out the characters, enemies and finer points of the world.

I would say a more tribal thing, with all of the tribes being led by one monster alien intellgence (more below).
