Greetings!

Having recently discovered your forum and perused it for a couple hours now I'd like to say hello and make sure I'm posting in the right area as the categories seem a little jumbled in my mind at this point.  There was a stickied note in the theory archive section listed it as a closed forum so I came here instead.  My design partner and I are currently working on a series of essays detailing our thought process and a set of sample rules based around a generic D6 science fiction system (with sample theme).  The project in question is the result of many years of revision and play testing but has recently been substantially overhauled and is entering into another round of play testing.   As such it doesn't appear to neatly fall into the 'first thoughts,' 'play testing,' or 'connections' areas as it is something of a work in progress.

The Question:
Is there somewhere appropriate we can post the first of the essays on the design of Starrise Nova for critical review and discussion?

While it's not said anywhere, Endeavour is used for that kind of stuff now and then. The recommended method is to post in Playtesting, however - the idea is that you post a bit about your actual experiences with the game alongside whatever design issues you have with it. The notion here is that any project that is not playtested still fits in First Thoughts, while a project that has been playtested should be discussed in the context of those playtests, not in isolation.
