I have a bunch of old D&D books that are literally falling apart. I still use them, and love to read them, but I am afraid I will start losing pages. I was thinking about binding them using coil. Do any of you have experience doing this?

This is kind of what I am looking at:

Yep, did spiral binding of the Everway rules and HERO 4th Edition at Kinko's. Came out fine. Assuming they cut the spine properly, it's all machine-driven after that.

Just stay careful with them--your paper is getting old, too, and it will tear out of spiral binding easier than you would think.

Have you considered re-binding them yourself, using any of a variety of home methods? There's bookbinding web sites all over the Internet that can give you ideas and procedures.
