AMAZING and TRUE stories of Sorensen!

Ok, so Jared, Mike Mearls, and I are playing D&D3e last night at Jared's place.  Mearls is DMing and he's whipped up a groovy, creepy "Island of Dr. Moreau"-type scenario that we're stumbling through.

The dashing and intrepid Jath Rana (my character) is having a nightmare involving a vampire trapped in some kind of steel bio-chamber with tubes coming out of his head.  Jath is thrashing about in his sleep.  Jared's character is awakened and comes over to wake Jath up.  As he does, Jath dreamily reaches out and clutches the front of Guntao's shirt (Jared's character).  Tension is high as Jath is yanked back to consciousness.  Startled by Jath's violent awakening, Guntao (and Jared) says in his deep, halting way:

"What is up?"

Mearls and I burst into laughter as Jared catches on a second later.  We spend the next few minutes saying "Waaaaazzzzzzzaaaaaap???!!!" to each other in homage to the Budweiser commercial, as the mood of the scene lays in pieces all around us.  ;-)
