This is a relatively simple question that can be presented with a fairly light amount of information...

I need two more 'Styles' of Faith-based powers.

As it stands I have Druid, Holy and Unholy. I feel like I am missing some that are fairly obvious... The only true requirement is that the stated faith type must be easy to break into powers.
Druids, for instance, are going to have lots of powers that control and create nature types of things. Easy, right? The end game is to have 8 powers each, but I'm not asking anyone to design powers or anything. =)

Thanks in advance for any assistance that this mighty fine forum provides.

I have no idea of what you really mean by "Faith" in this case, but if one checks out possible interpretations of the word, one may get these things: The One[Holy], The Opposed[Unholy],
Gaia[Nature], Mythologics[several deities], Mammon[wealth, possibly greed], Zodiac[similar to Mythics, but much more on Fate].
There you have 3 more, i realized that "Mammon" may be too much of a tradesman's thing, rather than a Cleric's, Warrior's, or Mage's, so i added Zodiac.

Hm...
Let me try to explain a little more. I need faiths that pertain to a specific divine source, a deity. I want that faith to draw out its own unique set of powers.

I may choose Craft as one and... ... ... Music for the other? I'm not sure yet. Perhaps Travel. My end of the spectrum requires that I create powers for those deities so I'm trying to make it easy on myself. =)

How about an introspective faith? I am not sure what you could call it, but it could be a sort of Zen-like practice that involves personal refinement, and all that jazz.

MacLeod

That's not a bad suggestion at all! =)
Thanks for your input, Charlie.

You could also do something similar to what you see in old sword and sorcery where there are cults to the 'Old Ones'. These beings (or singular deity) could be sort of uncaring and alien; not directly 'Holy' or 'Unholy'. Then you would end up with:

Holy - good, powers of the light
Unholy- evil, powers of the dark
Nature- the natural world and elements
Self- internal balance, and self-perfection
Old Gods- worship of the unknown, mysterious entities

An alternative could also be sort of an animism thing that worships spirits. Another possibilty could be an obscure form of ancestral spirit worship, that confers ancient knowledge and other obscure skills.

MacLeod

Awesome... This is exactly what I needed. =D Thank you very much, good sir.

Now I'm torn between the Old Gods and spirits/totems. Damn me and my need for symmetry!

No problem; glad I could help. As an aside question, why do you want there to be only 5 faiths? What would be the harm of including them both?

MacLeod

Well, that goes back to the symmetry thing I mentioned.

I have 5 martial styles, 5 expert styles, 5 arcane styles and now 5 faith styles.

My mind would go all screwy if I increased one of them and not the rest for some odd reason. =)

When you really consider it, why not opt for a more "true" Mythological approach?
I mean, "Holy" and "Unholy" is derived from Monotheism & Dualism, and really do not exist as such in Mythologies.
If so, i'd suggest:

Wisdom
Death
Nature
Delights
Trickster
