I have a new player who may want to use two knives.  I have know clue whether this is European or not, it's just something cool he wants to do.  Would this best be represented by cut & thrust, using knives in both hands?

Sounds good to me. He's going to be seriously disadvantaged with both weapons at Hand range, but then... ::shrugs:: I can see it working better with Cut & Thrust than knife/dagger, due to the dual nature of the style.

Well, I'd not allow the "beat" maneuver, but either Cut & Thrust or Case of Rapiers seem a good place to pilfer maneuvers for a "Case of Daggers" proficiency. ;)  I would likely increase their activation cost, as well.

And remember kids... Pillage first, THEN burn.

The reason I ask is that 'dagger' is significantly different (edit: from cut & thrust).  With dagger, you get grapple, kick, and punch as offensive manuevers.  My first thought was to remove grapple as an offensive manuever, and add-in double-strike and bind & strike.

My next thought was cut & thrust, and just add punch & kick.  You're right, if I do cut & thrust, no 'beat' manuevers.
