I cant post topics or reply half the time! I keep on getting "invalid_session" messages!!! ARGH!!!!

Morfedel

at least I got tis one up

Morfedel

This is bizarre. I'm getting that message only on certain threads. Such as the one I started called "I've pretty much decided to buy TRoS, but...."

Yet I can reply to this one. Having other inconsistant behavior like that, too.

I hear you.....I had some problems reading posts for a while.  In fact, I still do.  For some reason, I can't read the posts in Netscape, but I have no problems in Internet Explorer...probably some microsoft plot.....

testing again.....

Morfedel

this is very strange. Why can I reply here, and not on the posts I WANT to reply on?

Ron Edwards

Enjoyable as it is to watch this thread evolve, Morfedel, I have decided to take pity. You need to post in the Site Discussion forum about this problem, or send Clinton R. Nixon a private message, and whatever-it-is will be all fixed up if possible, like-a that!

Best,
Ron

I had already emailed him. And he took care of it. Thanks though!

And glad I could be a source of entertainment to you! :D

As a general rule, if it happens just copy/cut your text, then click back on your browser, then click forward, re-paste your text if necessary, and save. It'll work then.

As Ron said though, this kind of thread should go in the Site Discussion forum in future.

Thanks,
Brian.

No, you misunderstand. It wasnt working EVER! I went back and forth and logged on and off and loaded up different browsers and and and....

Then system wasn't letting me reply to a few threads. Period.

It turned out, after talking to the web master, that it had to do with the fact I work behind microsoft behind several proxy settings, combined with some security measures he had in place. He tweaked it and fixed my prob.

And as for the other forum - I came directly here, didn't pass go, didn't collect 200 dollars - so I didnt know about it. I'll keep that in mind for the future, though.

Thanks!
