Indeed so. I expect, as well, for most indie publishers the payoff of simply having people buy and play the game is a major reward. Hell, I'd be stoked if (like Luke) over five hundred folks had forked out hard earned cash for one of my games regardless of if I made any money out of it.

I was simply looking at it from the profit/loss point of view.
