Hi everyone.  I'm delurking to say that I've posted a long essay on my website, called 'The Perfect Planet: Comics, Games & World-Building.' It talks about all kinds of stuff, from RPGs & computer games to James Kochalka's 'The Horrible Truth About Comics,' Tolkien, Scott McCloud, the Forgotten Realms, HarnWorld, the Situationist International and - well, whatever else I could think of at the time... ;-)

GNS gets a passing mention, and The Forge is plugged several times...

It's based on a talk I gave last year at a conference on 'Creative Writing in New Zealand' and was written for the book collecting all the papers from said conference, which will be published later this year by Auckland University Press. But they kindly let me post it on my website straight away, and so I have.

If anyone wishes to read it, it's here: http://www.hicksville.co.nz/PerfectPlanet.htm

You can email me from the website if you have any comments...

Thank you for your time.

Dylan
