According to http://www.ogrecave.com, Matt Forbeck announced the short list for the Diana Jones Award at Origins:

HeroQuest
My Life With Master
Savage Worlds
"the Scandinavian gaming scene"
True Dungeon

Congrats, Paul!

MLwM is the stand-out nomination. It was in a stupid category at Origins (electronic gaming or something?).

The Scandinavian Gaming scene is interesting. I bought the book from the LARP con but haven't got round to reading it yet. But anywhere that you can get Gvt grants to support gaming is wonderful.

From the title of the thread I was expecting a My Life with Master idea with Princess Diana as the Master....  :)

Congratulations Paul!

Me too! And I bet it would make an awesome game. Thanks for the idea.

Yikes! That explains the sales spike. For days I've been lost to the world in my own personal home repair & improvement nightmare, and then this morning there was this unexplained spike in orders and inquiries about international shipping & handling.

Thanks for relaying the news Jürgen. It's quite a field of contenders.

And if you're doing anything with your Acts of Evil ashcan license, of course I'm curious and would love to hear about your plans
