Hi Lang,

The example doesn't scare me--but it doesn't sound right to me either: a KB of 30 can't hurt a Force Field of 30 (due to cut-off at the critical juncture)? Also, so long as armor is static, you'll have a blow-through problem mathematically:

Attacks will only work within a narrow range. If I have armor of 25pts and attacks do 7,14,21,28,35,or 42--and I have about 10 hit points--I'll either be un-hurt, take 1/3rd of my damage or "all of it."

Sure--doesn't mean I'm splattered--but it's still blow-through. Also, since the dice will cluster around 10 the 21,28, or 35 numbers are statistically the most likely ones (assuming a 14 skill).

Also, since CJ is based on how well the attacker rolls and not, it seems--although I suspect this can't be the case--how hard to hurt the target is--then a really good shot with a .22 can get a CJ against a T-Rex and then what happens? NOTE: I know you've got this covered, but I'd like to see what you're doing with it.
