Well, PhilReed posted this over at RPG.Net in a post. I don't know what it means, but I suppose it does mean one less pdf online store.

Quote from: PhilReed

Over the next week, Creation Crash is being sold and Ronin Arts' PDFs will be exclusive at RPGNow. Those already selling at Creation Crash will be contacted by the new owner.

Did RPGNow buy CreationCrash?

Thanks,
Nathan

No I did not buy his site. He can chime in if he wants, but he's found that all other sales venues (DTRPG, LULU, this site, etc) all have so very few sales that it's not worth the hassle.

Makes sense.
It's not really surprising given the limited time creationcrash has been up, and the fact that he's been a fixture on RPGnow for longer than the other places. You can't spend a year marketing your games and sending all your business to one site, then branch out to sell on other sites and expect any of the others to perform as well as the first. If people are used to buying his products from RPGnow, why would they go somewhere else?

Really I can't much see the sense in splitting up sales among different sites anyway. There's no point. Better to just pick one you like and concentrate all your efforts into sending people there to get your product.

Maybe Phil decided the same thing.

Hey! This is not a rumors board. This entire thread is totally not permitted.

If anyone wants to know what Phil is up to, I suggest you email him.

Sorry, guys. I've been pretty buried with work and having a hard time hitting the different forums.

The creationcrash.com site is in the process of being transfered to the new owner. I've become so overwhelmed with work -- I was not expecting Ronin Arts' success and I'm still growing into the workload -- that it makes more sense for me to sell the site then to do a bad job with it.

Anyway, back to work. If you guys have any questions feels free to e-mail me.
