Ahh, so it's not supposed to suggest a John Carter on [Polaris] sort of thing, then. Oddly enough, this morning I was struck with the sudden notion to read more Kipling.

Also, I think it's cool somebody used X-1 (for those who aren't in the loop, it's the first discovered black hole), which was my first choice for our game's Fate. Obviously, he has to be an enigmatic figure.
