I've got a character who has a relationship that's basically an old romantic affair that has been cut off, years ago. I'm thinking it would be appropriate to represent that relationship by d4's... after all, the relationship is still THERE, it's just different... no longer supportive of the two of them.

You're allowed to assign your relationship dice however you want.
Is there some other question there I'm not seeing?
