Ah, K. That makes it nice and clear - I wasn't sure whether "Ask How" was formalizing "call BS" or "demand conflict", all along.

Aside: I finally found a design situation where you want/need to have "automatic challenge rolls (3c)" - This occurs in a game where you don't have a dedicated Adversary-player role, such as the Mistaken in Polaris, or any game with a GM. When you lack an Adversary, like you do in Breaking the Ice, it would help to make a better conflict if you build in a automatic challenge, such as BtI's "attraction roll" that must be made each scene.
