I've been tinkering with my personal "Wanna be a Trollbabe" playlist.  It remains subject to my whim, but in the off chance it may be of interest, here's the contents of the current incarnation.

1. Still Waters / Jim White
2. Crossbones Style / Cat Power
3. Up the Hill Backwards / David Bowie
4. Bonnie & Clyde / Luna
5. Farewell Ride / Beck
6. Jig of Life / Kate Bush
7. Vølven (The Fortune Teller) / Sorten Muld
8. Evening on the Ground (Lilith's Song) / Iron & Wine
9. I Think I'm a Mother / PJ Harvey
10. Mood Swing / Luscious Jackson
11. Twisting / They Might Be Giants
12. Ubiquitous Mr Lovegrove / Dead Can Dance
13. Water Your Garden / Luscious Jackson
14. Woman King / Iron & Wine
15. C'est la fucking vie / Ginny Clee

I am.

So.

Uncool.

I recognize a bunch of the artists, but not all of them. And I recognize none of the songs.

No one will recognize this one, but if ever there was a Trollbabe song:

Fragile Woman by S.I.N.A.
--also fun, but less directly applicable-->
Who's Your Daddy, Snakegirl? by Combichrist (and, if you're picking that up, give a listen to "Enjoy the Abuse")

Nice list, Julie. Especially the PJ Harvey and Luscious Jackson. "Twisting" though? I don't get it.

But you seriously need some Aimee Mann on there, stat. And a random Muzsikas track couldn't hurt either -- for the wacky old world vibe.

Ron should invoke the Right Of Mix CD.

Cool! I actually got responses.

Ron: I'm not surprised.
Ralph: Which one?
Dav: You're right, unrecogized.
John: *shrug* Don't know what there is to get--I like it in there.
Larry: Illicit copying? Moi?

"She's not your Sattelite, she doesn't miss you.  She wants to see you again...slowly twisting in the wind"...How is that not a perfect Trollbabe song?

(that's the one I knew)
