Hey all, I have a question that was passed to me by an acquaintance. I'm basically helping him find "the right forum/site" for discussing this sort of thing.

Say I want to discuss a House Rule I'm coming up with for a known game. Like, "Honor Rules for Unknown Armies" or somethingorother.  I have a few ideas, but I want feedback, and imagine I'd make the results of my house rules available online somewhere, like an Unknown Armies fansite or something. I want feedback and suggestions on what I have and what I'm working towards. And yet, I don't own the rights to the game.

Is something like that acceptable for First Thoughts?

Hi Andy,

That's totally an Actual Play thing. House rules come out of actual play, whether with this game or another one. Talk about the experiences of play that led to the creation of the rule - say, what it was like without it, and then afterwards, what it was like with it.

Best, Ron
