I am looking for a handful of playtesters for a game that I designed for the Reversed Engineer project. This game isn't serious enough yet, in my mind, for the inde-rpg thread (though the moderators may disagree with me and move the thread there, which is okay). The game can be found here: ]http://ilocker.bsu.edu/users/tholaday/WORLD_SHARED/TheCourt.pdf. You will need Adobe Acrobat Reader to see the document. The game has been reviewed favorably by Jason Morningstar and Meguey Baker. (Sorry for name dropping, but it's true and I thought it might generate interest.) Thematically, the game is about people in a medieval or renaissance court setting who are vying to either discredit and assassinate the king or to "lionize" him and end a period of unrest. There is no combat. The game is diceless. The game uses a chessboard and has tactical elements, but it plays nothing like chess and it the rules for movement are quite simple. Mostly the board and pieces track who's who, and to whom they are adjacent. This comes into play when a character wants to start or squelch a rumor, gain support for a plot, etc. The game will handle a large number of people and I want to develop it for Con play and release it as a free game.

I can offer playtesting in return, or editing services (I have a Ph.D. in English Composition and Rhetoric). I can also offer art services (my B.F.A. was in drawing and painting).

Just cut and paste the link above or use the one below. I screwed it up by accident. (Somehow a left bracket got in there.)
