Has anyone done any work on developing extra combat styles for Swashbuckler?
Using the original game, it is set up for using just the sword. I want to add appropriate other skills for the setting, i.e. rapier/sword and dagger, sword and cloak, sword and buckler, case of rapiers?
Has anyone done anything with this? I am happy to develop something, but was wondering if anyone elese had any takes on it?

Patrick Crusiau (he of the gorgeous paper minis) had a very nice set of house rules for Swashbuckler that included extending the dueling system to numerous other weapons.  Unfortunately it no longer seems to be available on the net anywhere, not even from his roleplaying page (which is hard enough to find).

However, I have a copy on my hard drive, so PM me and we'll work it out.

Some interesting stuff there but not sure about his approach to some of the added weapons. For example, he doesn't give Spears any thrusting moves! only slashing!
While I would use a spear to slash with its main adavantage would be in trhusting, especially beacuse of its reach.

I'll do some work and get back here

No one else done anything with Swashbuckler?

It may be me but I can't find any referance to a two weapon skill or using two weapons? I know that there is an option for using your off hand, but that reads as though it is af you want to use your sword in your off hand. Rather I am refering to using your off hand, with a dagger in combination with your sword.
This is something that you would not suffer a penalty for, if you had trained for it.

Is it me being dense or is it not there?
