Young demon summoners sending their monstrous proxies into battle against one another, competing for the ultimate prize.

... also known as Pokemon.

Heh ... the thought of using Sorcerer to run a Pokemon-style campaign is almost too good to resist.

Forgive me if somebody else already thought of this. I had a mad fit of giggling when it occurred to me.

It has been mentioned, and it's definitely in theme for the game.

This RPG.net thread is a great setting riff for a Pokemon-style setting with the horror dials turned way up (http://forum.rpg.net/showthread.php?t=302463) and is what I think of when I think of Pokemon/Sorcerer.

Hi there,

Here's what I dug up:
Pokemon: feature or bug? And more from 2002
Stretching and (most important) Sorcerer and ... Pokemon from 2003
And sort of relatred, [Sorcerer] Pro-social demons? from 2005

Any further thoughts on the topic are certainly welcome. I still think it's a great idea.

Best, Ron
