My friends and I have a good time at Dreamation 2007, we attended it based on Luke's recommendation. ( is he every wrong? ). We all had a very good time, especially in the indie games section.

We are looking at attending Dexcon 10.

My question for the forum is, I see that plans for GenCon indie are being made is anyone making similar plans for Dexcon?

I hope to have the chance to play some of the games I didnt have time to play while at Dreamation, too many games and no time..

I also hope that someone could demo "Don't Rest Your Head", and "Universalis", I seemed to have missed both of those games..

Hey there,

Dex Con planning will probably start more in the March/April timeframe...it looks like the schedule won't be up until April 30th, according to the website. Kat and/or Michael Miller will probably post a "Send me your event descriptions" thread somewhat in advance of that, and then the kerfluffing will begin.

If Dreamation was any indication, DexCon is going to ROCK.

If I make it to DexCon (I sure as heck will try), I'll likely have my demo kit for DRYH on me (runs in about 10 minutes, tops).

With luck, maybe I can browbeat someone into running a midnight DRYH game again, too.

It's going to rock so hard it's going to be playing guitar with its tongue.

DexCon usually makes Dreamation look like a redheaded stepchild, even with the vicinity to the other big summer cons.

Hey, all!

I'm starting to pull together things more for D10, and as always you guys will have pretty free rein to put together the schedule you want.  :)  The deadline for scheduling will be May 1st, and there will of course be a suite made available to you all again, as sleep space.

If there's anything at all you need from me, just shout.  More information to come.

I can't seem to find any reference to dealer costs for Dexcon or the Spring Gathering. What does that usually run?
