Heya,

Have you read this: http://community.livejournal.com/storygamesinfo/834.html

It's a great idea.  So I'm going to start it.  Who knows when Story Games will be back up?  It could be tonight, it could be 3 more days.  Or longer.  So here's the deal.  Write a game using the 24 Hours rules from the 24 HR RPG project (http://www.24hourrpg.com/) except you can work on it until Story Games is back up.  The theme of your game should be Blackout.  Interpret that however you want.  Post here when you start and when you finish.  Adding a link to the draft version would be great!  We'll see if we can get Andy to host the games at 1km1kt or something.  Okay, get to work!

Peace,

-Troy

I am totally on this.  Great idea, Troy!

I FIXED STORY GAMES!

I knew as soon as I posted this, Story Games would come back up.  We've got to remember this trick in the future.  But it seems a shame to waste this opportunity.  So here we go.  You have 7 days to complete your design.  Submit them to me in PDF format at tcostisi@hotmail.com and I'll still see if I can get Andy to host the pdfs.  I'll choose which one I think is best and send that person a free copy of Cutthroat.  Get back to work! :)

Peace,

-Troy

Andy Kitkowski

Holy crap I will totally host your PDFs.

Don't drain too much brain-juice, cause Game Chef is right around the corner ( www.game-chef.com ).

What the heck. I had time today, so I started at 11:30 and just finished. Game on the way to you.

I had a surprise day off and an idea nagging at me, so I'm in. Started writing something at 11am today. It's just the bibliography. Let's see what I can do.

Stick a fork in it, my RPG is done.

Comedy Blackout

I probably should have added a few more notes and examples, but I ran out of time.

Mailing the PDF next...

Didn't think about posting a link and putting the game online. Here it is: Blackout on the Elevator

I totally should have added examples. My bad.

Congrats, John. Way to go. You took the challenge way more seriously than I.

Andy Kitkowski

Congrats!

Sorry, been too hooked into Game-Chef to raise my head to breathe, much lest pump my fist and yell "woot".

Feel free to start a thread on S-G to discuss, get other reviews, cheer, etc.
