Getting started with Agon -- any advice?

So I'm going to get some Agon going with my friends -- as old-school dungeoneers they seem like the right target demographic, and Agon seems to be all about the righteous ass-kicking. But can you give me some advice to get things off to a good start?

So far, this is what I've done:

* Mailed the demo to my friends, and asked them to come up with a good Name in advance. (No Elrond Hubbard's here!)
* Also, I have included fun pop-culture references to get them in the mood: Hercules, Xena, Clash of the Titans, Jason and the Argonauts, 300, * Troy, and even Conan, 13. Warrior, and Rome (ancient times, brutal).
* Read through this forum and the Wiki, noting down the official errata.
* Printed out all the game aids from the official site.
* And I intend to start with small, easy fights and work my way up from there.

What have I forgotten?
Best regards,
Chris

Sounds like you're doing everything right, Chris.

I'd also make one of the first quests very short (3 objectives, maybe) so they can see the reward cycle in action fairly soon.

OK, I'll forge ahead as planned. If I'm not too flustered to take notes, I'll try to crank out an AP report some time next week.
Best regards,
Chris

Excellent. An AP would be much appreciated.
