Hey folks,

The Lake Geneva Gaming Convention is scheduled for June 15th to 17th, in Lake Geneva, Wisconsin. Is anyone looking to go to this? My group of conventioneering buddies are considering it. Likely I'd be bringing Carry, Dust Devils: Revenged, The Mountain Witch, Cat, Burning Wheel, and maybe a few other things ready to run, some more prepared than others. We'd also be likely to have DITV, and Prime Time Adventures. The hotel pricing is on par with what Forge Midwest was running, but they have some rooms that they allow up to six, so if there's other folks interested we might be able to coordinate room sharing.

Clyde, did you go? I've thought about attending before, but I usually find out about it too late. Do you have a short convention report?

Hi Adam,

Yes I went. It was good fun. I playtested two games of Otherworlds, and played one gutbustingly fun game of Dust Devils. All the tables were open for open gaming so there were no sign ups. They seem to be hitting a size such that they may need more than one room next year. There were lot's of people having fun playing what sounded like dungeon delves. I would guess at around 50 to 60 people? It was really cool seeing the grey haired guys at the convention. Some of them came and peeked at what we were doing and our tiny effeminate game books. *grins*

If there's something else you want to know feel free to hit me up with a PM. Also here's the calendar we Madison folks use to keep track of conventions, if you want to see if there's anything you're missing. I think we do a good job collectively of keeping track.
