We need GMs for Gateway 2007at The Westin Los Angeles Airport Hotel.  The convention happens over Labor Day weekend August 31-September 3, 2007.  We expect over 1000 attendees for more than 400 events of card games, board games, miniatures, LARPs and RPGs.

Southern California has become a mecca for small press RPGs and their designers.   Joshua BishopRoby is running the Indie Games 101 Track, including his own Full Light, Full Steam and the playtest of his new Sons of Liberty!  Other small press games being featured (so far) include Spirit of the Century, Crimson Cutlass, Don't Rest Your Head, Dogs in the Vineyard, HeroQuest, Vincent Baker's Otherkind, Pulp Adventure, Primetime Adventures and the playtest of my very own soon-to-be published Space Blade!  Our Guest of Honor is Tom Jolly, creator of Wiz War and Drakon!   We also have a host of other RPGs like Classic D&D, Buffy, Star Wars Saga, Patrick Kapera running SpyCraft plus the Camarilla LARPs and Live Cthulhu!

As I said, we need GMs!  I particularly want to see GMs for Agon, Dictionary of Mu, Burning Wheel, Burning Empires and Cold City!  We had a Indie Press Revolution booth in our dealer's room at our last convention in May and we hope to have them even bigger at Gateway!  BTW, Paul Tevis of the podcast Have Games, Will Travel is our RPG coordinator.   Our conventions have a new management team and Paul has absolutely rocked the RPG department.

So visit www.strategicon.net and come toss some dice with us.  GMs get a free weekend badge for running 8 hours of events.  Also, if you are a game designer please let us know ASAP so we can put your on our special "Play with the Creators" track at the convention!

Pre-Registration ends on August 17th!!!

Once you get your pre-reg badge, you can sign up for all your games (one game per slot) in advance through the website.

We are allotting 2/3rd of the player slots for each game to be used for pre-reg. If you don't get into your favorite event or if you only plan to come on day, don't stress. When you arrive at the con - (come early!) - you will be able sign up each morning for all the games happening that day.

We have a MASSIVE roleplaying schedule full of stuff!

Over 10 game designers will be pimping their old games and playtesting their new creations - we got new boardgames, card games, RPGs and LARPs happening plus all the games you know and love.
