Upon seeing the System On A Character Sheet challenge, I'v divorced the system of The Other from it's main document (which is only a few pages as is) and came up with Stress Profile, a generic sort of thing with a bit of a desperate tone to it that you could probably play most anything with.

Since I can't make PDF's, here it is:

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Stress Profile for:
Base Stress Check: Player Character rolls 1d6 vs. GM rolls 1d6. Highest result wins. Player Character loss in a Critical Scene results in loss of one Threshold Notch. Player Character loss in a Normal Scene (vs other Player Character or minor threat from the GM) results in the victor getting to narrate out their success, within limits set by the GM, without any Notch loss.
Trait (+1d6 for relevant rolls):
Trait (+1d6 for relevant rolls):
Following current Archetype (+1d6 for relevant rolls)

Threshold Notches
Starting: 3 (In Control Archetype)
First Refresh: 3 (remove one Trait) (move to Losing It Archetype)
Second Refresh: 2 (remove remaining Trait)
First Refresh: 1 (move to Lost It Archetype)
No Notches or Refreshes Left: Player Character's fate is put fully in the GM's hands.

In Control Archetype:
Losing It Archetype:
Lost It Archetype:

To use a known character as an example:

Trait (+1d6 for relevant rolls): Jury-Rigged Weapons
Trait (+1d6 for relevant rolls): Inappropriately Comedic Mishaps (a good way to add +1d6 when resisting damage)
