Hello!

I need an artist who can deliver a cover illustration for an RPG that I'll be releasing next year. It's a modern horror RPG, heavy on the gore. I'm an independent game developer, so I can't pay what the big guys can. But I pay half up front, and half on delivery (preferably via FTP). The job pays four hundred dollars (PayPal has worked for me in the past, but I'm open to suggestions).

I need a full-color illustration, 8.5"x11", at 300 dpi. The image will consist of two humans and a demon (exact description to be provided later). I need the image by sometime next summer, so there's plenty of time (though if you get it done sooner, rather than later, there's probably more work where that came from).

I can provide references, if you like. I usually pay my artists up front, but if it's a big chunk of change, I prefer to pay at least half on delivery. I have a standard contract that I use, but if you've got one that you're comfortable with, that's fine with me.

I'm not interested in ownership of the work -- you'll retain the ownership. I want the permanent rights to use the cover illustration for this book, and the rights to use the image in marketing (though mostly in the form of small JPGs on my web site, or in magazine ads for the game). If you want to use the image to create posters or merchandise, I'll direct traffic to your site so that people can purchase these items from you.

If you're interested, please post a link to your gallery here, or PM me. I'm really hoping to see full-color illustrations of horror-themed material. But even if that doesn't exactly describe your work, please feel free to post here and talk about your style or what-have-you.

I'll make a decision by the first of January. If you have questions, please post them here or PM me. Thanks in advance for your interest in the project!

Rafael

Hi, I would like to toss my website out there too. www.elijahart.com or jacobelijahwalker.blogspot.com. I haven't got a lot of horror work in my portfolio but want to expand in that direction. I would be happy to sketch something out for you to look at, if that would help you make a decision. That is, if your not working with Adam. - Nice work Adam - Anyway, Im not trying to step on any toes, just putting my name/work out there too.

Thanks for any consideration
