Can a demon Boost its master's Humanity?

Can a demon Boost its master's Cover, or its own?

Can a demon Boost another demon's Power?
If a demon had Power 6 and Boost Power (assuming it can have such a thing), if it were to Boost Power upon itself, would the resulting score be 1, or 7? (because "Boosting reduces the demon's Power to 1 while it is maintained")

Hi Joe,

The answer in all cases is "no." Boost may apply only to Stamina, Will, or Lore. (Clarification: singly. In other words, if you want a demon that can Boost all three, then the demon needs three separate Boost abilities.)

I'll specify a couple of alternatives and options.

1. Humanity can't be Boosted. The only equivalent can be found in the Grace rules in The Sorcerer's Soul, which isn't Boost but rather a kind of buffer that the angel can set up to protect someone from the consequences of 0 Humanity.

2. Cover can't be Boosted. However, a demon may have the Cover ability with its user defined as not the demon, in which case one can be, say, a rock star or millionaire, because the demon makes you one.

3. Power can't be Boosted. To answer your hypothetical question, though, the result would be 7.

You've probably seen these, but just in case:
