Quote from: Wordmaker on April 28, 2009, 03:41:42 PMWe haven't had a chance yet to meet and discuss the game properly, but of my 5 potential players, I've gotten the following 3 character concepts:My wife did archery when she was still in school, and got the nick-name "Lady Hood" because of how good she was. She's going to play a crimefighting archer by the same name. One player is going to be a treasure-seeker who has elemental powers granted by three talismans giving him control over air, earth and water. He's come to Gotham following a lead that the one controlling fire is there.Another player wants to play the only surviving witness to what happened to Superman. The blast caused him to absorb Superman's powers because of a combination of kryptonite radiation and how close he was. He knows the truth, that Superman survived the blast but has turned his back on protecting humanity because no-one would help him when it was his turn to be saved. His hang-up is that he feels responsible for the loss of Superman, and wants to make amends.

Which is cool, because I want there to be some characters in the mix who are unreleated to the DC backstory. My wife tends to take her time milling over ideas before zoning in on one, so I'll pitch some suggestions at her. Being an archer, she could have some ties to Green Arrow, or given that the game is looking to be set in Gotham, I might suggest some ties to Batman, Catwoman, or Huntress. As it is, all she's decided on is playing Lady Hood as a crimefighting archer.
